Following on from a massive summer of events, the DigDeep team are pleased to announce that we’re bringing it all back to where the Secret Warehouse parties first began for a monumental night of entertainment at Sun Studios! We may have had a short break since then, but we’ve been busy…

We’ve been gently twisting the talented arm of a Hacienda legend to come play at our house for some time now, so we’re super excited to confirm that GRAEME PARK has agreed to grace our shores for the next Secret Warehouse installment on Saturday June 23rd!

We are happy to announce, joining Graeme will be another legendary DJ, Tom Middleton. Known for is ultra vast musical repertoire in his sets, including is notorious acid house sets! Tom is a man of many talents, too many to mention here but his attention to detail and classical training give him an understanding of the music that is only reserved for a select few.

We are honored to have Graeme & Tom headlining for what is going to be our biggest Warehouse party to date.

GRAEME PARK

Being one of the original resident DJs of the legendary Hacienda in Manchester 1988, he quickly became one of the biggest names in the clubbing scene. Aside from his eight-year residency at The Haç, he was one of the first British DJs to play places like Australia. Now after ten years he returns for a special night for all us High Flyers.

TOM MIDDLETON

There is little Tom Middleton hasn’t achieved. As a DJ he’s performed in almost every corner of the globe to crowds as large as 150,000. With his trademark widescreen musical repertoire, he’s spent years championing styles long before they were the norm, helping Ulrich Schnauss develop his career and hosting Hot Chip and Mylo’s festival debut appearances. Tom is no ordinary DJ. He’s a true scientist, a self-proclaimed research freak who spends his life consuming information in the pursuit of authenticity finding connections between the most disparate forms of music.

MR. THING

Marc Bowles, better known as Mr. Thing, is no stranger to our shores. With a fan base in every city, Mr. Thing has proved his worth and has toured with the who’s who in the industry. One of the original members of the Scratch Perverts he has achieved a cult like status and respect amongst his peers.

After the success of our first Secret Warehouse event followed by the day/night NYD party, we thought it was about time we took you back to the roots of where it all started, we are delighted to have stumbled upon a perfect New York Loft space!

“THE LOFT”

The Loft was the location for the first underground dance party and was created by David Mancuso on February 14, 1970 in New York. Since then, the term loft has come to represent Mancuso’s own version of a non-commercial event, with similar vibe of a private intimate party for friends. Unlike conventional nightclubs or discotheques, attendance was by invitation only. This movement inspired such great as Larry Levan, Nick Siano, Frankie Knuckles, Francois K, Todd Terry, Masters At Work, Marshall Jefferson, DJ Sneak, and the man himself: Danny Tenaglia – famous in New York for his 10+ hour sets.

“THE MUSIC”

As Danny Tenaglia told it – “Music is the Answer” with the kick in the bass and the underlying rhythm as the foundation, vocal, thick cords, a combination of classic club groove with depth contributing a huge influence on the development of the modern dance club as it is today. So expect a blend of everything: old and new, deep, soulful and tribal – HOUSE music at it’s best!

Our second room will be hosted by our good friends at “FUNKDAFIED” who will transport you back to one of the most influential eras in modern music, starting with the ORIGINAL music that was played at the first NY Loft parties encompassing Soul, Funk, Jazz, Disco, African & Latin Rhythms and then on a journey through the NY scene from 1970-1982, all the way to early Hip Hop that was born in the Bronx in the late 70′s. This is the place to hear the music that influenced the whole Dance music scene.

“THE VENUE”

The “Secret Venue” is a fantastic 2-room venue with licensed bars in both areas. Sound & lighting will be done to the highest standard along with a high level of production to turn the space into the perfect “New York Loft”. The secret location will be released closer to the event.
Please note: This venue is half the capacity of our last event so we are expecting a fast sell out on this one folks!

Well… what a great start to the High Flyers ‘Little Secret’ party series…!
A 1,200 strong crowd braved the cold winter weather to join together in turning an Alexandria warehouse into a magical melting pot of happy smiling music lovers, there for one thing only… a jolly good time!

12 weeks hard work had gone into the night and worth every second when witnessing the amazing crowd that supported us! We had a vision on what the night could have been and the crowd delivered on creating a fantastic night to remember, we salute you! Credit to the DJ’s in every room, some of the best sets in Sydney for some time, every room was rocking from start to finish!

Last but not least we would like to thank each and every one of you for showing some faith and purchasing tickets many weeks in advance, your support is greatly appreciated!

We have lots in the pipeline for the summer months starting with our “High Flyers Day Cruise” Opening Party  on November 6th. We hope you can join us, full details released closer to the date.

As for the High Flyers ‘Little Secret’ – we will be back for a couple of sneaky appearances over the next 12 months…Watch this space!

Fellow High Flyers,

We are now just over a week away from our eagerly awaited High Flyers Little Secret ‘Warehouse Party’. So here are the details!

1. Meeting place – Alexandria Hotel Cnr Henderson & Garden St, Alexandria 9pm – 10pm. All ticket holders will be permitted to collect their wristband from one of our staff members inside the Alexandria Hotel.

2. Coaches will then run you to the door of our “SECRET” Warehouse venue.

General Info:

• There will be no ATM at the warehouse, so please bring enough cash
• We have 3 licensed bars, so strictly NO BYO
• Photo ID required on entry to the venue
• There will be a cloakroom at the warehouse venue – so bring a jacket
• Cigarettes will be on sale at the main bar

Please note the buses will only be running from 9pm – 10pm so please turn up to the Alexandria Hotel early as to help get you to the venue early to get the party started!

VERY IMPORTANT
We did sell out 4 weeks ago and apologise to everyone that missed out, but please note there will be no door sales on the night as we are already to capacity.

We look forward to seeing you all on the dance floor!
